About Rocky Drift Co.

Rocky Drift Co. is a fly fishing blog rooted in the South Platte River — Cheesman Canyon, Deckers, the Trumbull section, and the tailwater down to Eleven Mile.

We write three things:

• Weekly hatch reports — flow data, water temps, what's hatching, what's getting eaten.
• Gear reviews — only equipment we own and have fished hard. Scott, Winston, Ross, Skwala, Simms, YETI, the real stuff.
• River guides — access, seasonality, what to expect on each section.

No best-of clickbait. No "ten reasons fly fishing is good for the soul." No padded reviews of $40 plastic. If a piece of gear isn't worth your money we'll say so.
